Does it cost anything to join the AE website?
No. Joining the Art Exchange is free.

Do I need to provide the photographs for listing my art collection?
Yes, you can send in digital files of your work, but the Art Exchange Advisory Board will give the approval regarding any listings, after which the physical work must be authenticated

Will my details as the owner of artwork be displayed on the site?
The Art Exchange will hold information of the owner of each artwork, and this will not be displayed on the site.

Who will determine the value of each piece in my collection?
An elected Advisory Board consisting of a select group of experts in the history of Nigerian art, and gallery owners, shall gather to review works that qualify to be listed.

Will I have to insure my works to be listed? & if so, does the AE provide insurance coverage?
All works that will be listed on the AE website must be insured. If your work is not insured we provide this service with a reputable company. If the work is already insured, please send in details of the coverage that is in place already.

If I want to sell any works in my collection, will the Art Exchange be able to assist?
Yes. We can put a collector in contact with a potential buyer.
